A Harvest Moon game's just been announced for Wii U, which is normal, but also PC, Android, & iOS?

i'm hyped for the Harvest Moon, but oh gosh what sort of game could it be to be on those platforms too...

By the way, since I backed it in the first day, they supposedly should give me a GOG code for Witcher 1 or 2, or Wasteland 2. If anyone is interested and never played those games - feel free to ping me (and tell which one you want, so I'll select it). I'll gladly give it to you, since I have all of them on GOG already.

Just keep in mind, it's Bethesda. They aren't innovative lately (too much "mass market" approach is their doom). So it won't be Morrowind ;) May be Obsidian or inXile should make a new post-apocalyptic RPG? If CD Projekt Red could license REDengine to them, it could be a marvel. I'd really like something in the sprit of Damnation Alley, but a true RPG, not just some sandbox shooter.

Honestly, I'd be okay if it were just a new world for fallout 3 NV.

I don't actually care about the gameplay so much as the art-side of things; I'm in it for the story and worldscape. if I don't enjoy it that much but it has redeeming world design, character, and other such design it'll still be a favourite of mine (As to why Fable 3 is one of my all-time favourites despite its gameplay follies).

Also its in a Fallout setting, so the story is already towards favoured with me.

I'm in for story and characters too, but in such games I like the depth and meaningful choices and consequences. Bethesda tends to make very linear and superficial games lately. I guess they think depth doesn't sell well. That's why I get a feeling today's RPG innovation happens not in Bethesda but in studios like inXile, Obsidian, OtherSide and CDPR.

I don't think I've played a recent Bethesda game actually? I played Skyrim but I got bored two seconds in and cheated to get a house and collect a ton of gems for fun. There was just something really meh about it and the style of it was super generic fantasy.

Hopefully they'll go to an older feeling with 4 since that's generally what people want.

Yeah. Skyrim is a good example of what I mean. Meh is how I'd describe it too ;D May be they can change, but I doubt it. It's not accidental - it's money driven. Such companies gut creativity depth for the sake of more profit. That's why such things come out as they are.

@otherbuttons Yes! I loved it too, I can't wait to play it.

What was everybody's favorite from E3?

    Mine were:

Unravel, Kingdom Hearts 3, The Last guardian, Yoshi's Woolly world, Star Fox, Rise of the Tomb Raider, FF7 and Uncharted 4.

Oh Fire watch really intrigued me as well.

AND the Minecraft in hololens was awesome! Soo many things...

I didn't really follow E3, but I saw the Shadow Warrior 2 gameplay video - it's quite good (the first game has an interesting and dramatic story for an FPS / hack-n-slash, so I expect the second to be good too). Their music team is the same that worked on the first two Witcher games, and they are great.

    Examples:

By the way, the song they use in the intro is Kawaii Hana (I had hard time finding it).

They'll also release it for Linux on GOG. Something I'll wait for :)
  • As for me, I haven't played since January.. I don't have time for this, I play several times a week, mostly on PS4 and PC. Nowadays, I spend always all my way to work on online gambling form my iPhone on website I found on http://casinomonster.ca ... My wife says that I should better play video games

I'm back into Minecraft again. It's like an addiction that never really stops haunting you.

Also I've been trying my hand at Rogue Legacy. It's a really fun game even though I'm really bad at it. The all-over style is adorable too. ♥

i'm really looking forward to fallout 4, especially since by the time i'll get it + a rig to run it on, all the mods will have been released :P

@Naila: The full version of the lullaby from that Witcher trailer was released ("Lullaby of Woe"):

I posted the lyrics and summary of analysis (which was posted before in this forum :)) on the Witcher Wiki.

@shmerl Thank you! I have started The Witcher 3 but didn't progress much as I got overwhelmed with the amount of new games lately :/

@Naila: Lucky you :) I hope you'll like it. Try also reading the books - they are great (and also help appreciating games much more).

I have an extra bonus from The Bard's Tale IV campaign (a choice - Witcher 1 or Witcher 2 or Wasteland 2). I have all of them already, so if you are interested - let me know, I'll claim a specific one for you. I won't keep this forever though, so if no one needs it - I'll offer it elsewhere.
  • And, it's gone.
  • Armikrog will be released today!
  • An interesting article about making of The Night To Remember trailer, where authors confirm vampire lullaby interpretation: http://www.fxguide.com/featured/behind-the-scenes-of-digics-witcher-3-cinematic/
It was also important to show in the trailer, reflects project director Peter Sved, that the Witcher universe was “not about your stereotypical good versus evil characters - everyone has their own side of the story. The lullaby sung by the girl/vampire in the trailer is a great example of this: it is in fact a song that a ‘monster’ would sing to her offspring, about the terrible Witchers, who come and hunt them for money. It is an ambiguous world in this sense, where Geralt is not clearly a positive ‘hero’, and thus the film works deliberately to arouse some sympathy towards the girl/vampire.”
  • 1. Crowfall (say, it's IGN Wiki) - something like survival meets RTS meets MMO meets Minecraft/EQ:Landmark meets EVE Online...if that makes any sense?

Here's one of early tests, Confessor playing with some Centaurs:

2.Camelot Unchained - also IGN "intro", or even shorter: it's basically Dark Age of Camelot 2 with some Minecraft/Warhamer Online flavor. There are tons of ex-DAoC people super-hyped for this one, thou "good" video footage is still under the NDA.

Currently Uncharted 4 (next Tuesday!) and Mirror's Edge: Catalyst are the two I'm anticipating the most right now. And of course, We Happy Few, but I'm playing it now so that's sort of cheating.
